"Timewashed" giveaway

There's an enchanted atmosphere created by Becky over at  Getting lost in her pages can be a habit-forming way to pass away a few hours.  And now she's having a French Country Fall Giveaway that's made for anyone who loves vintage.

Have a feast for your eyes!

If you've come to see my bowls I am sorry to say that they aren't here.   Due to a back problem I've been typing with the laptop balanced on my tummy for 3 weeks.  When I'm up and at 'em and the bowls are finished I'll post them.

In the meantime, I've enjoyed all your bowls!  Thank you to Regina, Madam Samm and Carol for doing this hop!

Full brain syndrome

Have you every had so many things you want to do that your brain can't hold all of them?  For a long time I've been waiting to log onto and order one more me.  Maybe two.  But then I look at all the little notes taped in every available spot on my desk and know that order just has to be for three.  That's because all the funny and creative bloggers out there keep putting more ideas into my computer and my fingers refuse to leave the mouse alone and then the 'gottado' list gets longer and hubby looks into an empty cooky jar and the stacks of folded laundry are wondering when they're going to be tucked into their homes.........oh well.  I've always liked even numbers so make it four.  Just as soon as the site is uploaded.   And could they each please have the endless energy that once upon a time was mine?

Oatmeal raisin cookys.  That should do the trick!

It's About Time

Wow - talk about procrastinating.  This blog has been sitting here for almost 2 years.  What was I waiting for?  I have no idea but if anyone can get people moving it seems to be Madame Samm at SEW WE QUILT with her BOWLS with BORDERS BLOG HOP.  So this is the beginning of baby steps and a long learning experience.  All the wonderful bloggers I've been reading have me intimidated but a gal's gotta start somewhere.
